Countryside Guest House is located along Kisoro to Bunagana Road a few minutes walk from the town centre and 500m from the Taxi and bus park. At Countryside, you will be welcomed with a genuine warmth and friendship. Rolling hills, evergreen farms and splendid views of the volcanoes of the Virunga surrounds the guesthouse. We are ideally located for visitors planning to visit the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and the Nkuringo sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Our restaurant prepares a broad range of dishes including traditional meals for those visitors wanting to experience Ugandan fare at very affordable prices. Enjoy a drink at our bar as you relax in a cool and homely environment.

We have 14 clean, comfortable and affordable rooms for budget travelers.

There is ample parking space for those with their own vehicles and security is provided.

Double/Twin occupancy (self contained rooms) - Ushs50,000- B&B
Single occupancy (self contained rooms) - Ushs35,000- B&B
Conference hall - Ushs100,000- per day.

For self-campers, our gardens can accommodate 6-10 people in their own tents. Shower and toilet facilities are available. US$3- per person.

Camping rates exclude breakfast. A breakfast menu that includes coffee or tea, eggs, toast cereals and fruits in season is available at Ushs5,000-

Conference Hall

We have a conference hall suitable for seminars, workshops, and office retreats. The facility can accommodate between 200-250 people.

Tour Services

We provide tour services that include vehicle hire. Experienced tour guides are available for visitors wishing to visit the indigenous Batwa people and those interested in forest bird watching and nature walks to Lake Mutanda.

Transfers to and from the bus and taxi parks are for staying guests available.
