The Rwenzori Mountains National Park is ultimately one of the worlds last unspoiled wildernesses a 'World Heritage Site' and one of Uganda's star tourist attractions.
Rwenzori Basecamp Guesthouse is nestled in the foothills of these fabled mountains some 4 kms from the National Park Headquarters in the Konzo village of Ibanda. Here you will enjoy the hospitality of our staff and a warm welcome from the local people. The Guesthouse is the ideal gateway to the Rwenzori for climbers, bird watchers and day walkers alike.
Access
We are located 20 kms from Kasese town, some 10 kms from the main Kasese to Fort Portal road. We are 15 minutes drive from Kasese Airfield for those visitors considering chartering an aircraft from Entebbe.
The guesthouse can be accessed by public transport where Minibus taxis depart Kasese to Ibanda when full or by Private hire taxi.
