 Situated on a Greenland slope running all the way down to a white sand beach on Buggala Island, Ssese Islands Beach Hotel (SIBH) has been developed under a canopy of natural tropical forest. This luxury Hotel combines a romantic ambience, offering a gracious life style, with comparable recreational facilities and a superlative service to create a unique tropical island holiday experience.
We are located on Buggala Island, the biggest island of the 84-forested Ssese islands and reachable in only 1 hour 30 minutes by our speedboat from Ssese Gateway Beach Entebbe.
The hotel itself is on a 30 hectares area, and the cottages are under a canopy of natural tropical forest. It has a beautiful 300 meters white sand stretch of beach frontage.

Accommodation at SIBH
 The luxury accommodation at Ssese Islands Beach Hotel is divided into rooms in the gracious cottages, some of which are no more than 30 metres from the Sand Beach. Camping site with modern toilets and showers just by the sand beach is also available.
All rooms are self-contained with a balcony. All guestrooms have one king bed, twin or tripple bed size or twin beds.
Dining at SIBH
 Dining at Ssese Island Beach Hotel is indeed a pleasure, a sumptuous buffet is presented at breakfast, including variety of fresh fruits. Lunch is usually a fairly informal affair. Menus have been thoughtfully composed and tastily prepared. Our buffets offer a huge variety of absolutely delicious and interesting options.
Bar
The bar serves drinks daily till late for your pleasure and offers a range of liquors and a selection of beers and sodas. Our Bar is a fine place to be at peace with the world as you watch the sunset into the lake from our terrace. A 25% corkage will be charged on drinks your own drinks served which are available in our bar.
Conference Facilities
 Located conveniently at the upper entrance of the Hotel with a glorious view of Lake Victoria and back drop of magnificent tropical forest the Conference Centre of the Ssese Islands Beach Hotel can host the smallest of meeting to the grandest conferences.
The Conference Centre has a seating of up to 100 delegates in a classroom parallel style and up to 120 in Cinema style. This makes our centre one of the if not the largest available on the Island.
The centre is equipped with flip board stand, black board. Public address system, there is a fully equipped kitchen to serve a sit down dinner for 200 guests at the conference centre.

Ferry from Masaka (Bukakata Ferry)
The Uganda Government owned Ferry that runs between Bukakata and Luku is free of charge to both passengers and vehicles. It runs three trips a day Monday to Saturday and a once daily schedule on Sundays and Public Holidays. The crossing time is usually 45 minutes with a further 45 minute drive through to SIBH from Luku.
