Masindi has a large central market with fresh vegetables and fruit. There are several supermarkets and fresh bread, milk and general provisions are available.
There are a number of pharmacies and several doctors.
Accommodation
Should you wish to stay overnight we recommend New Court View Hotel in Masindi, which has thatched cottages with ensuite bathrooms at Ushs45,000- (single), Ushs60,000- (double) bed and breakfast. Self-contained campers with own equipment welcome Ushs5,000- per person.
