Yebo Tours Services

Yebo Tours plan and organise tours and safaris to all of Uganda's National Parks. We have a strong affinity with the incredible Murchison Falls National Park closest to our base in Masindi on Uganda's northern tourism circuit. Yebo Tours have been providing tourism services for visitors wishing to visit the Murchison Falls National Park, Budondo Forest Reserve and other places of interest in the surrounding area of Masindi since 1998.

We are able to provide custom itineraries for visitors to the area to suit your interest, budget and time.

Camping is always the most affordable option. Yebo Tours can provide equipment including tents, mattresses, bedding and a camp kitchen to support any camping itinerary into the Park and the Budongo Forest Reserve.

Yebo Tours is also able to arrange hotel or lodge accommodation on request inside and outside of Murchison Fall National Park for clients traveling with us and also book accommodation in Masindi for visitors that would like to use the town as a local base to visit the area.

Murchison Falls Day Trip
Day trip to Murchison Falls National Park including Chimpanzee tracking at Kanyio Pabidi. Visit to the top of the falls, launch trip on the Victoria Nile between Paraa and the falls, game drive in the Victoria Nile Delta returning to Masindi.

Bird Watching at the Royal Mile (Budongo Forest Reserve)

The Royal Mile is a well known birding site some 38kms from Masindi. Yebo Tours can arrange trips to this premiere location with trained bird guides so you can maximize your visit.

Our Community Tours

Our community trips provide you with a unique opportunity to interact/stay with the locals in Uganda. Have a first hand touch and feel of the Ugandan culture while on our community tours; enjoy dances, folksongs and Africa tales plus the phenomenon African fire place.

Help out on a community development project in Uganda. Work with a local conservation project, youth or women project.

Bunyoro Kingdom Itinerary - 4 Days

Day 1 - We will wait for you at a place called Nakitoma on Kampala - Gulu road 112 km from Kampala and you will be left with 65 km to masindi take you for RHINO tracking about 10 km off main road.

Lunch or super can be served there and even good accommodation are there it depends how you like it to be.

For those who dint have time after rhinos on the same day we can drive up to Hoima for Bunyoro Kingdom cultural site which is like the Kasubi tombs. Spend a night in one of the hotels in hoima.

Day 2 - After break fast we leave hoima town for Katsiha forts there after go to Kibiro hot springs.

see the HOT SPRINGS , and visit the locals see them making salt from the sand.

From kibiro we may hike up back to were we left the vehicle, that is if you like hiking, or go to butiaba by motor bikes experience huge views of Lake Albert , lunch at butiaba.

After Butiaba drive to the escarpment, its a nice view of the lake Albert. There after continue to our YEBO TOURS bush camp for the night. On this night we may go to any other site for accommodation depending on your wish and budget.

In the evening while sitting around camp fire at YEBO TOURS CAMPING SITE you will enjoy typical Ugandan hospitality and be entertained by our local dance group.

Day 3 - We awake an hour before dawn to prepare at 5.00 am for breakfast before departing for a 4 hour game drive around the Victoria Nile Delta region of the national park.

This area is well known for it’s abundant game. You will have excellent opportunities to observe lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and many types of antelope.

There is an abundance bird life you will also be distracted by during this game drive. For those with keen eyes you may even see a leopard.

We head back to our campsite for lunch.

At 1.00 pm we depart for a 3 hour launch trip to the base of the Murchison Falls. Hippos, huge crocodiles, more buffalo, antelope and birds are common.

For those who wish to hike up to the top of falls by leaving the launch trip our vehicle will rendezvous with you in the visitor’s area.

A ranger from the wildlife authority will guide you from the launch and include a nature walk around the falls. An incredible natural wonder occurs between 19. 10 pm and 19.30pm at the falls where you will have opportunity to observe a mass exodus of bats from the bat cave before we go back to our camp for a night of rest or alternatively we can bush camp at the top of the falls if decided earlier in the day.

Day 4 - At 6.00 am we leave from either of the two campsites to experience a chimpanzee tracking activity on our way back to Masindi at Kaniyo Pabidi. This eco-tourism site is within the Budongo Forest . Breakfast will be taken at Kaniyo Pabidi before starting the chimpanzee tracking.

We will return for lunch athe visitors center Kanyio Pabidi before continuing to Masindi some 26km to allow you to catch a bus to Kampala at 2.30pm.

The bus leaving Masindi to Kampala at 2.30pm arrive Kampala between 6.00pm and 7.00 pm.

This trip can be done by camping or accommodation in typical African hut, or other hotels. The camping/typical african hut, communal bathroom facilities are there to be used.

By camping arrangement all transport from Nakitoma or Masindi, meals, drinking water, tents, park fees dues and for all activities are culutulated and agreed upon .

The trip excludes all other drinks but can be arranged.
